Kudos Collective Hosts
Matt Rule – The New Blood with Big Goals
Matt’s a recent convert to the cycling obsession, but don’t let that fool you — he’s all in. Since discovering the joy of the big ring, he’s been putting in the hard yards to earn his place at the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships. After qualifying at Amy’s Gran Fondo last year, Matt’s been chasing watts, KOMs, and every excuse to ride. New to the sport but hungry for the podium, Matt brings fresh energy and determination to the Kudos Collective.
Deane Rule – The Human Interval
Deane doesn’t just ride — he trains. Obsessed with the perfect power curve, he’s the bloke you’ll see knocking out intervals in the rain “just to keep the numbers honest.” Like his brother Matt, Deane’s on the road to the World Gran Fondo — qualifying at this year’s Tour of Brisbane — but in 2025 he went one better, taking the Victorian Road Race Championship (Masters 4, 46–50yo) at the iconic Phillip Island GP Circuit. He’s a relentless engine on the bike, a walking encyclopaedia of training plans, and the podcast’s go-to for no-nonsense takes… and highly questionable recovery snacks.
Andrew Steele – The Wrench, the Racer, the Wise One
With over 35 years in the bike industry, Andrew’s the true cycling veteran of the trio. From road to track to MTB, he’s raced it all — claiming club, state, and even national titles along the way. Beyond racing, Andrew’s a master bike mechanic and mentor who’s helped guide young Aussie riders into the pro ranks. He’s seen every trend come and go, knows what works, and probably has a story about it. Andrew brings depth, experience, and a healthy dose of sarcasm to every episode.
